Oahu
Above is a panorama view of
Waikiki.  Beautiful isn't it?  Talk
about nice weather!  We got 85
degrees, balmy winds and even the
rain was warm!

To the right and the one above and
the two below are all pictures of a
submarine tour we took.  The below
pics are at a 100 feet deep or better!
To the left is a picture of Diamond
Head with a bit of Waikiki in the
foreground!  What a lovely sight!  I
had such a good time but the best
was when we went to Kauai and
spend five days in a true paradise.

ME does not equal City Life!
Kauai
This is the Grand Canyon of Hawaii .
It is certainly much greener than
the one in Arizona!
Below is the Hawaii state
bird!  The Nene Goose!
This picture is from the North
end of Kauai, jut to the East of
the Kilauea Lighthouse that
stands as a monument...it is
also a bird sanctuary, with
shearwaters, Frigate birds,
Boatswains birds, Gooney birds
(IE Albatross), and Red Footed
Booby's.
Here are two of the better
pictures from our Kauai, fishing
trip.  The one to the right is my
daughter who caught the
second largest fish of the trip...I
forgot what they called the
danged thing, something about
a Hawaii salmon or something.

Below it is our catch for the day
(Six hours in rough seas I would
say we did pretty danged well!).
The one on the left (A wahoo) is
my catch for the day...about 35
pounds and all teeth!  The rest
are some variations on a theme
of Tuna.  My Dad made a great
Mango marinated cubes of
them...soft flaky and yes VERY
tasty!

Overall it was a wonderful trip...
One which I didn't want to come
back from btw!   I kept
wondering if I could get a job up
there that would support the 1.5
mil for a  1500 square foot
house!  LOL!  There isn't one!
Snicker!

Yes my favorite pastime, and a beautiful vista to enjoy it on.
Below is me my daughter, My mom, and My Dad on our guided
tour of Kauai's south end!
