The Michael
Anthologies
***of note!
I have made some changes to the
Michael Anthologies as far as the
story reading.  I will be posting
them as an anthology...like I want
the book to be.  I will be spending
the next several weeks reposting
the chapters of the two complete
stories and then continue with
"Saying No..."
Michael

It is hard enough being a teenager without
being a mutant too.  Michael is both, a
sharkmue, and the son of David (Tigershark)
and Angelina Scott.  He attends New Fresno
High School, and is a fairly popular
sophomore.  But that is only because his
heritage has never really shown.  Puberty
proves to him that his Shark DNA will no
longer lie quietly within him.  At Fifteen and a
half he begins to show his true "colors."  This
turns him from the coolest kid in his class to
an outcast in less than six months.

Now he is forced to deal with his own demons
at the same time as he is pushed to be a
poster child for the continuing struggle to
make homo acquaticus equal in the world
with their homo sapien counterparts.

: That Summer

Michael has made through his first year of
high school relatively intact.  He has his scars,
both mental and physical, and would like to
get some time to forget them all.

With this in mind he has intentions of
spending a lot of time in the company of his
human girlfriend, Mandy.  He know just where
to start off...a secluded little cove where they
can be alone.

Its just too bad that memories don't know
when is a good time for them to pop back up.
His day at the beach is haunted by the events
of his Sophomore year.

Michael:
Saying No is Harder
Than it Sounds

Armed with the pleasing memories of his time
spent over the summer, Michael feels that he
can take on his Junior year without much
trouble.

He still has some stigma's to overcome, a
enemy in Cory, but he feels it will be fairly
smooth sailing.

However, the school year has other plans for
him.  He is stressed to find that he is faced
with more work, college placement tests, and
another set of challenges, all of which will test
him in ways he hadn't thought of.
